This is the second of three online courses (MOOC) specialized in PPP contract management, under the ongoing course “Introduction to PPP contract management.” Each course will focus on specific aspects of management with a very practical approach aimed at improving the skills and capabilities of project stakeholders. The second course will focus on the modification, renegotiation and rebalancing phase of contracts.
This course was developed by CAF’s specialists and international experts on PPPs.
The first module will explain how to approach contract modifications, renegotiations and rebalancing; how to anticipate contract risks; and tools available and how to use them.
In the second module, participants will discuss how to react to materialization of risks and learn how to assess impacts and trade-offs.

Certificates: at the end of the course and after having completed 75% of each mandatory activity, students will receive a certificate of participation, free of charge. If students wish to receive a completion certificate, they must complete 100% of each mandatory activity and pay 40 euros. The first 30 students to successfully complete the course will receive CAF grants and their completion certificate free of charge. Next course 3: we will hold a 2-3 week course in September on “PPP Contract Management: breach, sequestration and early termination,” which will also be free of charge with a 16-hour duration.
