Workshop for the development of technology patents – Agribusiness Sector
The workshop is designed to outline and develop patent applications, mainly in engineering technologies, which do not require prior validation in laboratories or prototype testing, with the strategic purpose of producing an impact on competitiveness and productivity in the region.
The activity is designed for groups from companies, universities, research centers and associations of the agribusiness sector. To complete your registration, you must fill out and submit the application and a letter of commitment, as described in the document “Patent Workshop Notice,” no later than April 29, 2019.
The workshop will be based on the CAF Method for Accelerated Patent Development, designed to outline and develop patent applications, mainly in engineering technologies, which do not require prior validation in laboratories or prototype testing. The lessons learned from the process will allow participants to develop scientific patent applications in the future.
In early 2018, CAF signed an agreement with the Ministry of Production, CONCYTEC and Indecopi aimed at promoting technological and economic development in Peru by identifying opportunities and developing initiatives, with a focus on licenses and patents of technological innovations to be developed. For this edition we will have support from local authority Cite Agroindustrial Chavimochic.
As part of this agreement, an intensive workshop for the development of technology patents for the agribusiness sector will take place on March 13 to 17, 2019, which seeks to train participants in the conceptualization of innovative technologies and in the drafting of patent applications for international markets, providing tools to ensure novelty and patenting strategies.
