Supervision of the detailed design of the Alto Mao Irrigation Channel in Dominican Republic

Following a request from the Dominican Republic Government, CAF is financing the non-reimbursable technical cooperation called "Final Design study of the Alto Mao Irrigation Canal" in Dominican Republic, which will require the EXTERNAL SUPERVISION of such studies. 

Therefore, CAF invites interested vendors to present their proposals to carry out the “Supervision of the detailed design of the Alto Mao Irrigation Channel in Dominican Republic".  

RFP’s objective is to identify the consultancy company which will perform the supervision. 

Vendors, legally constituted, that demonstrate experience in developing services related to the purpose of this RFP can respond following the steps mentioned at “How to participate”.

The objective of the consultancy service is to supervise the quality of the "Final Design of the Alto Mao Irrigation Canal" in Dominican Republic within the framework of CAF-PPSA in order to subsequently be able to tender the associated works and accelerate the execution cycle of the operations of the Program. 

• Source of the funds: CAF has financial resources available through the Water Sector Pre-Investment Program (CAF-PPSA). 
• Reference budget: USD 70,000.00 
• Proposal language: Spanish. 
• Studies language: Spanish. 
• Contract execution period: 14 months after contract has been signed.  
• Deadline to ask questions: August 14, 2023, 11:59 pm Montevideo, Uruguay time. 
• Extended Deadline to send proposals: September 11, 2023, 11:59 pm Montevideo, Uruguay time.

How to participate: 

1. Vendors, who are interested to participate, should send to the email SUPERVISIONES_PPSA@caf.com the following documents: 

• Proposals covering the information asked by the the Request for Proposal. 
• Agreement of confidentiality signed by the legal representative. 
• Notification of intent to participate signed by the firm´s legal representative (Spanish version). 

2. Please use a subject in the email the following: "Supervision of the Final Design Study of the Alto Mao Irrigation canal in Dominican Republic". Also, send all the required documents in PDF version by email.  

 Interested consulting firms may join other firms in the form of a consortium or temporal association.
