V Regional LEDS LAC Workshop Advancing toward a resilient low emissions development: implementing the Paris Agreement
The V edition of the LEDS LAC Regional Workshop "Advancing toward a resilient low emission development: implementing the Paris Agreement in Latin America and the Caribbean" will focus on the implementation of the Contributions Determined at a National Level and other commitments acquired by the countries of the region, as key elements for the transformation of their development patterns.
Panama will be the headquarters of the V edition of the LEDS LAC Regional Workshop "Advancing toward a Resilient Low Emissions Development: implementing the Paris Agreement in Latin America and the Caribbean". This event is organized by the Ministry of the Environment in Panama, the Regional Platform for Resilient Low Emissions Development Strategies (LEDS LAC) for Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Global Alliance for Low Emissions Development Strategies (LEDS GP), with the participation of CAF, Development Bank of Latin America as a strategic partner, as well as the Inter American Development Bank (IDB) and the European Union through the Euroclimate Program.
The workshop will provide a space for public officials, staff from international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and other actors who work in the promotion of development compatible with climate. so they may share experiences and best practices, identify common challenges, strengthen capacities, and establish collaboration links.
