Consultancy for coordination and implementation of preparatory support actions for Green Climate Fund

CAF-development bank of Latin America- is inviting interested individual consultants to submit proposals for coordination and implementation of preparatory support actions for the Green Climate Fund to be carried out by CAF in Latin America and the Caribbean
The purpose of the consulting service is to assist CAF in implementing preparatory support programs for the Green Climate Fund and PPF. Minimum requirements for the consultant’s profile:
- Academic degree or background: post graduate degree in environmental sciences, economics, finance, international relations or any consulting-related specialty.
- At least 5 years of professional experience, including:
- Experience in matters related to the management, coordination and monitoring of climate change projects;
- Experience working with Latin American governments and international organizations or multilateral development banks;
- Proven experience in developing and devising climate funding projects (mitigation and/or adaptation);
- Proven knowledge and experience with the Green Climate Fund.
- Languages: advanced spoken and written Spanish and English.
- Skills: high-level management, excellent skills in research, analysis, and communication, both written and oral. Teamwork, diplomacy and leadership. Ability to communicate complex concepts and prepare clear, concise and meaningful reports.
