Hangout meet with SEMIDE- Learning about impact assessment from experts
Since 2015, CAF - Development Bank of Latin America has been sponsoring a series of expert-delivered theoretical/practical seminars to provide the region’s public officials with impact assessment tools.
The speakers will be sharing SEMIDE’s experience, as well as providing information about how to participate and what can be expected for the 2019 editions in Mexico and Colombia.
During SEMIDE’s three-day theoretical/practical workshop the region’s public officials will not only get a chance to witness a few success stories in using impact assessment as a tool, but they will also be able to share their own experience with local public sector leaders and receive personalized mentoring by CAF’s impact assessment team to apply to their own projects.
Between 2015 and 2018, nearly 250 CAF and public officials, selected from among over 3,000 candidates, participated in various editions of SEMIDE in Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, among other countries. In 2019, as many as 70 public officials will have the opportunity to participate in Mexico SEMIDE and Colombia SEMIDE.
Don’t miss the next SEMIDE hangout meet March 8 at 2:00 p.m., Mexico City local time.
