To rebuild the infrastructure damaged by the La Niña climate phenomenon in 2010–2011, Colombia’s Adaptation Fund was created, a nationwide entity that has performed extensive interventions in climate change resilient infrastructure.
In order to draw on lessons learned and develop a knowledge management roadmap to systematize the experience in designing and implementing climate-resilient projects, the Fund, with technical and financial support and CAF—development bank of Latin America—, contracted a study with the Foundation for Higher Education and Development (Fedesarrollo).
The results of this research were published in a document and shared at an event called “The Knowledge Roadmap, Climate Change Resilient Infrastructure,” in order for other institutions in Colombia and Latin America to leverage these lessons.
