World Water Week 2021 "Building resilience faster"

The Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) invites you to World Water Week 2021, which will bring together virtual sessions on the theme "Building Resilience Faster" from 23 to 27 August 2021
World Water Week, held annually in Stockholm, Sweden, brings together experts, professionals, decision-makers, business innovators and entrepreneurs from various sectors and countries to exchange ideas, foster new initiatives and propose solutions to today's most pressing water challenges.
This year's event will be virtual and held between August 23 and 27, 2021, on the theme "Building Resilience Faster".
CAF Development Bank of Latin America, pays special attention to World Water Week, an event representing one of the essential dissemination elements in the bank's sectoral knowledge, contributing to improved water conditions and access for the citizens of Latin America, as well as for social and economic development.
Latin American multilateral organizations will present progress made with the Water Strategy 2019-2022 that directs its growing support toward a resilient water infrastructure, with an urgent commitment for the region’s countries to improve their institutional structure, planning capacity, water administration ( including sanitation and irrigation services), while being better prepared to face and reduce the growing risks of droughts and floods, within the framework of an integrated management of water resources.
