CAF Development Bank of Latin America and Ayuda en Acción invite you to this in-person event where the outcome of the implementation of the Resilient Digital Schools project will be presented. In addition, current challenges and issues relating to education in the digital world will be analyzed and debated, with the participation of experts in the field of teaching and digital transformation from Spain and Latin America.

As a result of the Covid-19 crisis, which led to an educational emergency, CAF Development Bank of Latin America and Ayuda en Acción launched the Resilient Digital Schools project. This initiative was created with the intention of have a direct impact on the most vulnerable children, being present in thirteen public educational centers located in neighborhoods with a low or very low socioeconomic level in Andalusia, Aragon, Extremadura and the Balearic Islands.

Thanks to the project, devices have been provided to all 5th and 6th grade primary school students, and teachers and management teams were trained and digital transformation plans created that offer personalized support in their design and subsequent implementation. The experience has also helped create a replicable model, and has allowed us to draw important lessons thanks to the social impact assessment carried out.
