On the occasion of Chile's return as a full member of CAF, a broad agenda of activities will take place within the framework of the meeting of the Board of Directors of the institution.
From March 6th to 9th, Chile will host a diverse agenda of activities led by CAF that will address key issues for the region's development, such as the challenges facing Latin America and the Caribbean from a gender perspective, the challenges of fiscal decentralization, the impact and challenges of the venture capital industry, youth leadership, and ethnic and racial inclusion and diversity.
One of the main activities is the CLXXVII meeting of CAF's Board of Directors, which is made up of the Ministers of Economy and Finance, and Presidents of central banks of its 21 shareholder countries.
The meetings to be held in Santiago are part of the initiatives that demonstrate CAF's commitment to continue promoting the development of Chile, one of the founding countries of CAF more than 54 years ago, which began its process of reincorporation as a full member in July 2022.
