Proposals for Green Climate Fund’s readiness consulting services in Chile

CAF-development bank of Latin America- is receiving proposals to support Chile’s Ministry of Finance in strengthening alliances with other countries, in order to identify opportunities for climate-related joint actions and support the national designated authority to coordinate actions under readiness programs.

CAF-development bank of Latin America- invites interested individual consultants to submit proposals to support Chile’s Ministry of Finance in:

  1. Strengthening Chile’s alliances with other developing countries, particularly in the Latin American and the Caribbean region, in order to identify opportunities for joint climate-related actions 
  2. Supporting the designated national authority in its various activities to coordinate actions within the framework of Readiness programs.

 

Minimum requirements of the consultant’s profile:

  • Academic degree/level: Environmental Engineering of Natural Resources, Commercial Engineering, Sociology and/or Administration, with a diploma in Corporate Responsibility (preferable).
  • At least 5 years’ experience in project management, coordination and supervision, either in project design, monitoring and/or evaluation, and in structuring national and international financing for this type of project.
  • Experience in the public sector (Chilean Administration) is preferred.
  • Languages: Spanish, intermediate spoken and written English.
  • Skills: high-level management; excellent research skills, oral and written analysis and communication; ability to work in teams with diplomacy; leadership; ability to communicate complex concepts and prepare clear, concise and meaningful reports.
  • Consultants must reside in Santiago, Chile.

Recruitment is carried out within the framework of the Readiness program for Chile’s Green Climate Fund (GCF) – a process promoted by the Chilean government through its designated national authority before the GCF (Ministry of Finance).

  • Simple vendor registration
  • Valid ID document
