Discussion: “The Post-COVID-19 Latin American City”
CAF’s Cities with a Future initiative and the Avina Foundation opened this space for reflection in order to identify common elements among good ideas that emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic, which have transcended to become sustainable urban policies.
Event date:
February 11, 2021
While COVID-19 exposed limitations of our cities to address challenges of this scale, which in many cases are caused by structural issues identified before the pandemic, it also showed creativity and ingenuity to design and implement innovative solutions that addressed the situation and will possibly transcend the crisis with forward-looking approach.
This conversation will also be an opportunity to give out awards to the winners of the COVID-19 ideas competition: New opportunities for sustainable cities.
