CAF Participates in the OPEC Fund for International Development Forum

A delegation from CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, led by Gabriel Felpeto, Vice President of Finance, participated in the OPEC Fund for International Development Forum held in Vienna on June 24 and 25.
A delegation from CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, led by Gabriel Felpeto, Vice President of Finance, along with Ignacio Corlazzoli, Manager of Resource Mobilization and Global Alliances, and Gloria Gamero, Director of Mobilization and Financial Alliances, participated in the OPEC Fund for International Development Forum held in Vienna on June 24 and 25.
During the event, the CAF delegation held strategic meetings with representatives from major international financial institutions, including:
- Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development
- Abu Dhabi Fund for Development
- OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID)
- Saudi Export-Import Bank
- Saudi Fund for Development
In these meetings, various opportunities for collaboration between the institutions were explored, with a special focus on co-financing and parallel financing for projects in the public and private sectors of Latin America and the Caribbean.
CAF's participation in this forum reinforces its commitment to the sustainable development of the region and the pursuit of strategic partnerships to enhance the impact of its initiatives.
