CAF will make equity investment in COFIDE for up to USD 10 million to promote the sustainable development of Peru

The Board of Directors of CAF - development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean - approved an Equity Investment in the Development Finance Corporation (COFIDE) of Peru for up to USD 10 million, with the purpose of strengthening its equity solvency to implement its strategic plan by 2026 and to maintain the status of “Public Company with Private Shareholders”, established in Legislative Decree No. 674 (Law for the Promotion of Private Investment in State Companies), which has been an important attraction for investors, facing the execution of the institution's financing strategy in the capital markets, especially in international markets.
