(La Paz, September 21, 2010).- Until October 15, CAF’s Artspace Gallery has an exhibition entitled “A Collector in Silence,” which offers a repertoire of more than 50 paintings of renowned Bolivian artists, works that have been put on show for the people of La Paz thanks to an anonymous collector.

“It’s a unique opportunity to appreciate the work of several artists of renown in one place,” said CAF’s director in Bolivia, Emilio Uquillas, during the opening of the exhibition, highlighting that the paintings on show reflect the history of Bolivian painting during the 20th century. The artist and curator of the gallery, Cecilia Lampo, insisted: “This exhibition is about the love and commitment of a person who saw something of value in Bolivian art.”

The collection offers visitors an opportunity to admire the richness of Bolivian visual arts, as it includes works of artists such as Arturo Borda, Cecilio Guzmán de Rojas, María Luisa Pacheco, Alfredo La Placa, Enrique Arnal, and Ricardo Pérez Alcalá, among many others.

CAF’s Artspace Gallery is located on Avenida Arce Nº 2915 - San Jorge. Entrance is free of charge.
