Alliances for a Productive Inclusion Strategy

The feasibility and sustainability of micro-entrepreneurial activities  requires the coordination of actors from the private sector, the government, and the civil society, in order to achieve an alignment of resources that helps implement a productive inclusion strategy.

The alignment of inclusive strategies with wide-scope programs may constitute a support, not only for the incorporation of a rural community which is distant from the local and international market, but also for the sustainability of these efforts.

The implementation of an inclusive strategy  promoted by a development financial institution or by the private sector will have a greater impact if it is aligned to the ongoing national policies that support different dimensions of the productive inclusion  model. In the alignment of opportunities, tools, and assets, cooperation between the different actors that have an influence on the rural and urban society must be taken into consideration. In some countries, the public sector  leads the creation of holding environments for the construction of mechanisms to support micro-entrepreneurial activities through the cooperation of different actors in specific initiatives.

At the same time, incentive policies may be established for local and multinational enterprises that participate jointly with small scale producers in their training for the incorporation of inputs to the productive processes.

The challenge for the different actors of society is in the capacity to build alliances  in order to align the opportunities, tools, and assets that promote inclusive growth and to make specific contributions based on their roles and capacities.
