Ambassador Pedro Sorensen takes over CAF representation in Colombia

(Caracas, June 26, 1995).-- Pedro Sorensen Mosquera took over the CAF representation office in Colombia. At the time of his appointment this Venezuelan economist was a member of the strategic planning team at the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry.

With a Masters in International Administration from the American Graduate School of International Management in the United States, the new CAF representative has been principal director of the Venezuelan Investment Fund (FIV), director of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), and Director General of International Policy, as a member of the Venezuelan Foreign Service. He also held diplomatic positions in the permanent Venezuelan Mission to the UN and the Venezuelan embassy in Peru. In the 1990-94 period, Ambassador Sorensen was CAF vice president & deputy CEO.
