Andean Parliament recognizes the support given by the CAF President

(Bogota, November 1, 2007).– The Deliberative Body of the Andean Community presented CAF President & CEO Enrique García with a plaque of appreciation for his backing for the work of the Andean Parliament.

During the event, Colombian President Alvaro Uribe received the Medal of Integration in the grade of Grand Cross for his efforts to strengthen the integration process.

President Uribe joined in the recognition of García. "When I arrived at the presidency, the economic flow of the country was negative, and it was CAF which gave us a hand at the time. CAF is flexible and transparent, which in large part due to Enrique García, so I would like to congratulate him and the Corporation," he said.
