Andean Volunteer and Service Learning Contest

IDB and CAF are offering grants to promote volunteerism through service learning projects. The grants to a maximum of US$10,000 will be allocated by a competition open to projects submitted by students, NGOs and educational institutions in the Andean region. The proposals must comply with the format and requirements set out in the "Competition Conditions."

The objective of this project is to support the organizations of civil society oriented to promoting volunteerism in favor of development and combating poverty. Specifically, the project promotes projects based on service learning designed by students and supported by their universities.

Proposals will be received until July 22, 2005.
