CAF will reach 35% green financing in 2024

With the sponsorship of the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) and the Bolivian Embassy in Venezuela, the guitarist Piraí Vaca, declared the most outstanding Bolivian abroad by United Nations for Youth, will give two concerts in Caracas on the 22nd and 23rd of this month when he will interpret a select repertoire of the best of universal music.
These recitals are part the CAF cultural program, designed to disseminate Latin American artistic values. The first concert will take place on Wednesday 22nd in the Ríos Reyna Room of the Teatro Teresa Carreño at 6:00 pm.
The following day, the guitarist will interpret works by Spanish composers Fernando Sor, Mauro Francisco Tárrega, and the Italian Giuliani, along with musical pieces by the Bolivian composers Eduardo Caba and Gilberto Rojas. The concert will start at 6:30 pm in the Antonio José de Sucre auditorium in the CAF building. Admission is free to both events.
As a guitarist Piraí Vaca has received highly favorable comments from specialized critics for the virtuosity of his interpretations which range from renaissance fantasies to avant-garde arrangements with amplified guitar and computer-generated sounds.
The recognitions that the musician has received include Most Outstanding Bolivian Abroad from the United Nations for Youth; World Class Bolivian from the Latin American Press Association and the Bolivian Press Workers Association; Outstanding Young Bolivian from the Junior Chamber and he obtained his country’s top award in his specialty: the National Music Prize.
