May 18, 2016

The agreement will encourage the creation of business alliances of solidarity-based economy companies in Mexico, and calls for the development of a plan for internationalization of social enterprises by sharing successful experiences and identifying business opportunities between them.

In addition, knowledge transfer and management model mechanisms will be defined for the growth of social enterprises, and success stories and opportunities for local and foreign strategic business alliances will be documented. CAF’s input to this non-refundable technical cooperation amounts to USD 60,000.

The mission of Mondragón University is the creation, training and operation of all kinds of educational establishments or institutions at any level, including secondary and university-level education, as well as training of professionals for entry into the labor market. It also promotes the transfer and exchange of human resources, goods, services, capital and technologies, in order to supplement and contribute to national development efforts.

With this agreement, CAF supports the productive and financial sectors of its member countries through programs and projects that encourage productive transformation and diversification, promote entrepreneurship, innovation and job creation, and replicate successful experiences with an impact on public policy-making.
