The Program will bring important benefits to the population of the mentioned regions, particularly those serviced by the National Electric System (SEN for its acronym in Spanish) in the states of Lara, Zulia, Barinas, Monagas, Anzoategui and Sucre.
With the execution of the Program, support will be provided to a series of ongoing projects which belong to the transmission systems and distribution networks, so that they may be incorporated to the functioning of the SEN in the short term.
Specifically, it is expected that the program will incorporate an additional 1,076 MVA in transformation capacity; include at least 383 kilometers of transmission and distribution lines; incorporate 16 new substations; and install 18 power transformers and 50 34.5 kV / 13.8 kV switches.
