CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, has launched a new payment platform, through Atrium Pay, which has already been successfully used by more than 90 participants in the first course “Digital public transformation: skills for the future,” which served as a pilot test. This seeks to simplify CAF’s administrative processes and improve the registration experience for its training programs, in line with the institution’s commitment to incorporate innovative digital tools in its operations.

The new platform allows payments to be managed in an agile and automated manner, significantly reducing review and validation times. Atrium Pay offers participants various options to make their payments depending on the country, such as bank transfers, credit and debit cards, and virtual wallets. In addition, advisory services have been implemented to resolve queries or problems during the process, ensuring that each participant can complete their registration without setbacks.

This pilot stage has not only allowed the platform's functionality to be validated but has also allowed for the gathering valuable information to make improvements before its final implementation in the other courses that CAF will offer in the near future. The goal is to consolidate a robust tool that responds to the needs of participants throughout the region, strengthening access to the courses offered by CAF in an efficient and secure manner.

For Nathalie Gerbasi, CAF's Director of Institutional Development and Training: “This initiative also reinforces CAF's commitment to modernizing its internal processes, optimizing resources and facilitating access to its training programs. These types of solutions not only improve the student experience, but also represent an important step toward the digital transformation of the educational services that the institution offers.”

With this tool, CAF continues to advance its mission of supporting capacity development in Latin America and the Caribbean, promoting innovation as a driver of change in the region.
