LAC needs better fiscal policies to finance its development

The selected creatives and publicists will be invited to participate in a bootcamp to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where they will compete for a prize of USD 20,000 and will have the opportunity to participate in mentoring sessions by brand development experts in the region. With the purpose of strengthening the identity of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) as a single region, capitalize on what makes it unique and generate new investment opportunities for our countries, CAF, Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, opens a public call to select the brand image of our region.
The Region Brand will be the image that represents LAC on international stages and world-class events. It will also act as a vehicle to promote alliances and develop initiatives that boost the growth of our countries and contribute to the region having a more relevant place in the global arena.
“At CAF we seek to continue raising the voice of Latin America and the Caribbean in the world with the creation of a Region Brand that is cohesive and has international projection. The LAC brand will be an instrument of expression of our essence and will contribute to highlight the positive aspects of the region, promote investments and tourist destinations and, ultimately, will help the region to have a more unified and recognizable presence as a block on the international stage”, said Sergio Díaz-Granados, executive president of CAF.
The application process will be open from April 4 to 26. The selected designers, creatives and publicists will have the opportunity to participate, all expenses paid, in a bootcamp, to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from May 12 to 15, 2024, in which the image of the Region Brand will be created.
During the days of the bootcamp, there will be inspiration sessions, workshops, and mentoring, which will be guided by professionals from the region with a recognized track record in brand development.
Participation in the contest is completely free. The winning proposal will receive a prize of USD 20,000. The selection and award ceremony will take place on May 15 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in person.
