As part of complying with its ethical commitments, CAF, Development Bank of Latin America annually holds training activities for its staff regarding ethical concepts and information related to the projects it develops, thus contributing with the responsibility it assumes before the beneficiaries, service providers, clients, members of the Board, and shareholders' assembly, as well as its own staff.

CAF involves the staff of all its areas, and specifically the group of employees that has been participating in the GEF Projects   "Global Environment Facility (GEF)." Last December, a training activity was carried out for this group of employees, with the objective of updating them regarding how to avoid unethical behaviors, learn about its aggravating circumstances, as well as their behavior when faced to scenarios that could be detrimental or harm the actions of the Organization.

CAF has a Comprehensive Ethical System, made up of a regulatory norm, a fully operational Ethics Committee, working contact mechanisms, and a series of dissemination activities.
