CAF supports the improvement of potable water services in municipalities in Buenos Aires

With the objective of improving access, quality, and the provision of potable water services in the specific municipalities located in the south west of the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires, The credit corresponds to the second phase of a financing plan aimed at the expansion of the installed capacity of the potable water provision system in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires. In 2013, USD 120.5 million were approved for this initiative. 

The total estimated cost of the program is USD 367.8 million, of which USD 120 million (33%) correspond to the CAF's loan, and USD 247.8 million (67%) to local counterpart resources.
