CAF will reach 35% green financing in 2024

Continuing its cultural activities, CAF, jointly with the National Culture Council (CONAC), will present the Caracas Academic Octet tomorrow.
The new concert by this outstanding musical group will start at 6:30 PM in the CAF Antonio José de Sucre Auditorium, Luis Roche Avenue, Caracas, for the benefit of the Venezuelan Special Olympics. Admission is free.
The Caracas Academic Octet is formed by oboes Miguel Rutigliano and Ricardo Ribeiro, clarinets Mark Friedman and Alejandro Montesdeoca, bassoons Filiberto Núñez and Ruben Oscher, and cornets Joel Arias and Guiomar Hernández.
Their repertoire includes works by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert and other classical composers, as well as Venezuela and Latin American composers.
In recognition of their high level of professionalism, the Caracas Academic Octet has been awarded the Order of Diego de Lozada, first class, by the Caracas Municipal Council, and nominated for the Ronda Prize 1994 for "Best classical recording of the year” and Best classical music group of 1995" awarded by Casa del Artista.
The group has recorded four CDs: Caracas Academic Octet performs Mozart; Small-Great Music Gems; the Caracas Academic Octet performs Beethoven and Para un amigo tangos and milongas.
