Congratulations for Ollanta Humala, president-elect of Peru

(Caracas, June 6, 2011) .- In a letter sent today, after learning the results of the elections, Enrique García, president & CEO of CAF - Latin American development bank – offered the newly elected president of Peru, Ollanta Humala, his most sincere congratulations on behalf of the institution and himself.

"I am certain that during your mandate we will move forward together to deepen the excellent relations existing between CAF and Peru. In this respect I confirm our willingness to support the initiatives that your government of reconciliation and national unity will undertake, especially promoting sustainable economic growth with equity and social inclusion, as well as strengthening Latin American integration schemes," García said in the letter.
