Financing mechanisms for entrepreneurs, third "Enterprising Venezuela”Forum

CAF –development bank of Latin America– and the Ideas Foundation will organize a gathering to present company and seed capital investor’s cases, with the participation of national and international guests.

(Caracas, Aug. 14, 2012).- National and international guests, company representatives and seed capital investors will meet Aug. 16 at Enterprising Venezuela: Financing Mechanisms. At the forum, they will share their experience on financing sources and economic resource search with key actors from the private and public sectors, as well as academia, who are related to entrepreneurship.

Panelists will also discuss criteria that must be taken into account for projects when financing is sought, and common reasons why some proposals do not get economic support.

International guests:

Venezuelan guests: CAF and the Ideas Foundation are the event’s organizers, whose first edition was held June 7, titled Enterprising Venezuela Forum: Entrepreneurship Ecosystems.

The International Entrepreneurship Experiences Forum Cycle is a CAF regional initiative held in different Latin American countries to promote entrepreneurship development in all of its stages. Bolivia, Ecuador and Panama have hosted some of these gatherings, with others scheduled in Colombia, Peru and Uruguay, and there is the possibility of expanding them to other countries.

The forum will take place at Antonio José de Sucre Auditorium on Avenida Luis Roche, Torre CAF, starting at 8:00 a.m. Attendance is free. Attendees must sign up by writing to comunicaciones@ideas.com.ve . Spaces are limited.
