Mayor Jaime Nebot presents medal in appreciation

This Friday, June 5, at 11:00 a.m., the mayor of Guayaquil, Jaime Nebot Saaid, presented the Andean Development Fund’s director in Ecuador, Dr. Luis Palau Rivas-Sacconi, with a medal as a gesture of appreciation.

The Andean Development Fund has financed large road projects in the city, among them the reconstruction and widening of major roads such as Avenida Carlos Julio Arosemena, the Daule Road, Avenida Francisco de Orellana, and Avenida del Bombero, currently in progress. It has also financed modern infrastructures such as the tunnels through the Santa Ana, Del Carmen, and San Eduardo mountains, as well as Trunk Roads 1, 2, and 3 of the Metrovía Mass Transportation System, one of the main solutions for transporting people from different cardinal points of this port city.
