Govtech as a Digital Innovation Trend in Cities

CAF—development bank of Latin America—has published the first four documents in the Policy Briefs series, which intends to educate on key issues for the digital transformation of governments and the efficiency of public processes.

Through the Policy Briefs—which are short documents focused on particular topics—CAF seeks to disseminate “knowledge for action” aimed at providing tools to promote digital transformation, as well as foster public innovation and improve lawmaking and public integrity, even in cities.
These publications briefly discuss specific issues, proposing policy options to address them, as well as recommendations to solve the various problems. The articles also recall a few of the region’s success stories, which can be taken into account by the various national and sub-national stakeholders.
The Policy Brief series is specifically aimed at public policymakers and officials, as well as international partners and all parties interested in innovative proposals to improve public management and citizen services.
