Seeking Entrepreneurial Innovation in the 2014 Ideas Contest

For the second consecutive year, in the framework of the 2014 Ideas Contest, CAF, Development Bank of Latin America, will grant the Special Award for Entrepreneurial Innovation to business projects that transform new ideas into economic and social solutions for Venezuela

This distinction is aimed at projects that introduce significant improvements or new products in processes, marketing methods, or organizational methods in the company's internal practices.   

The 60 thousand Bolivares Award will be granted to the winning team based on a work plan established jointly with the Fundacion Ideas, and is aimed mainly at needs associate with the creation of the company, patent protection aspects, specialized consultancies, and support in locations, among others. 

The first winner of this Contest was the initiative called Láminas Biofotónicas con Tecnología APSE (Biophotonic Sheets with APSE Technology), which also won first place in the Business Category of the 2012 Ideas Contest. 

On that opportunity, CAF highlighted the individual, local, and global impact of this proposal which promises fewer bacteria, fewer diseases, less additives, greater safety, more quality, and more health and well-being in industrial and agricultural processes. 

Those interested in proposing their project for this special award in the 2014 edition of the Ideas Contest, must consider the commercial feasibility, sustainability, replicability, and positive impact on the productivity of the region of the initiative. In addition, the initiative must not have negative impacts on the environment. 

Remember that registration for the 12th edition of the Ideas Contest ends on July 21st. Register through www.ideas.com.ve and propose your business project or social entrepreneurship, because your idea may make history and may be our next winner.
