Three agreements to be signed on June 8

The representatives of the media are cordially invited to the signing of three agreements in CAF headquarters starting 4 PM. The agreements are:
  1. Framework cooperation agreement with Banco de Comercio Exterior de Colombia SA (BANCOLDEX) to provide cofinancing for various investment projects and programs being promoted by the governments of the Andean subregion, private and partly state-owned entities, and projects which involve privatization processes, including concessions systems. The agreement will be signed by CAF President & CEO Enrique García, and Bancoldex President Victor Manuel Hoyos. Time: 4 PM
  2. Memorandum of Understanding with Corporación de Fomento de la Produción (CORFO) of Chile. (Summarized in accompanying note). Time 4:30 p.m.
  3. Signing of US$100 million loan agreement with Corporación Financiera Nacional (CFN) of Ecuador. This loan is part of the Global Multi-sector Credit Program, which CFN uses to provide long-term funds to the Ecuadorian financial system to partially meet the credit requirements of priority sectors and generate economic benefits for the country. The CAF funds will be used to finance acquisition of fixed assets, working capital and services associated with the projects and finance lease operations, among others. The signing will be attended by CAF President & CEO Enrique García, Ecuadorian Finance Minister Mauricio Pinto, and CAF general manager Rafael Cuesta. Time: 5 PM
