Venezuela: experts to debate Andean economy

A forum on the outlook for the Andean countries will be held this Friday September 24 in the CAF headquarters, organized by this multilateral financial organization and the World Bank.

A forum on the outlook for the Andean countries will be held this Friday September 24 in the CAF headquarters, organized by this multilateral financial organization and the World Bank.

The event will be opened by CAF Executive Vice President Luis Enrique Berrizbeitia. The World Bank director for the Andean countries, Marcelo Guigale, will give a presentation on "The Andes: Challenges and Opportunities for a region in transition".

Other speakers at the event include the CAF vice president of Development Strategies, Fidel Jaramillo, who will give a paper on the “Economic Outlook for the Andean Countries,” and the director of the Central Bank of Venezuela, Armando León, who will speak on the “Development outlook for Venezuela in the Andean subregional framework.”
