Venezuela Sí Compite

Enrique García underscored the importance of defining and promoting the introduction of a local, national and regional competitiveness agenda, a task that is in the hands of the CAF Andean Competitiveness Program (PAC).

The Venezuela Sí Compite Workshop is being held today in the Hotel Tamanaco in Caracas. The purpose of the event is to achieve the competitive integration of the Andean countries into global markets and higher growth rates compatible with the parameters of sustainable development.

The "Venezuela Sí Compite" Competitiveness Network is coordinated by the Venezuelan Council for Investment Promotion (CONAPRI) jointly with the Andean Development Corporation (CAF), and the support of other institutions. Its main objective is to implement the recommendations resulting from the CAF Andean Competitiveness Program (PAC) and the Cost Venezuela study, along with the studies in this area by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) and the World Economic Forum (WEF), among others, with the aim of promoting the competitiveness of the Venezuelan productive sector.
