Venezuela: Two publications on health

Today Monday in the CAF headquarters in Caracas, the official launch will take place of the books Salud, gobernabilidad y retos estratégicos en la subregión andina, (Health, governance and strategic challenges in the Andean subregion) and Reformas y financiamiento de sistemas y servicios de salud en la subregión andina, (Reforms and financing of health systems and services in the Andean subregion) edited with the support of this multilateral institution.

CAF Executive President Enrique García will attend the ceremony, along with Peruvian researcher Arturo Yglesias, author of Salud, gobernabilidad y retos estratégicos en la subregión andina; Chilean researcher Osvaldo Artaza, author of Reformas y financiamiento de sistemas y servicios de salud en la subregión andina; and the executive secretary of the Andean Health Organization - Convenio Hipólito Hunanue, Mauricio Bustamante.

The special guest will be Venezuelan Health and Social Development Minister Roger Capella. Two health experts, Leopoldo Yañez of the Arnoldo Gabaldón Institute, and Oscar Feo, specialist in health reforms from the University of Carabobo, will comment on the books.
