Don't let another 200 years pass!
CAF, Special Olympics, and the Government of Paraguay have launched a campaign to raise awareness and advocate for the rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Inspired by Article 19 of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, the initiative seeks to promote inclusion and respect, questioning when these individuals will achieve independence and full enjoyment of their rights. The campaign is presented within the framework of the Latin American Regional Games, where athletes from 23 countries will compete in 14 disciplines from October 4 to 12 in Asunción, Paraguay.
