Following a request from the government of Chile, CAF is financing the “SUPERVISION” of the “DETAILED DESIGN OF BASIC SANITATION SYSTEMS FOR ISLA LAS HUICHAS IN THE AYSÉN MUNICIPALITY” AND THE “DETAILED DESIGN OF RURAL POTABLE WATER SYSTEMS IN THE LOS LAGOS AND LOS RÍOS REGIONS” IN CHILE.
Therefore, CAF invites interested consultancy companies to present their proposals for providing the aforementioned services.
Companies, legally constituted, that demonstrate experience in developing supervision of studies related to the purpose of this RFP can respond following the steps mentioned on “How to participate”.
The consultancy aims to oversee the pre-investment studies to design rural sanitation systems on Isla Las Huichas (Aysén Region) and potable water systems in rural communities in Chile's Los Lagos and Los Ríos regions. This consultancy will ensure that the studies meet high technical, environmental, and social standards, aligned with local and international regulations and the needs of the beneficiary communities. The supervision will include verifying the studies' quality, assessing the designs' technical and economic feasibility, ensuring compliance with environmental and social regulations, and risk management and coordination among key stakeholders.
Source of the funds: CAF has financial resources available through the Water Sector Pre-Investment Program (CAF-PPSA).
