Seminar on Impact Measurement for Development (Ecuador SEMIDE)
Convocation from August 29 to October 31, 2018
Ecuador SEMIDE is a theoretical-practical training and consulting seminar organized by CAF-development bank of Latin America-, with the support of the National Planning and Development Secretariat (SENPLADES), whose main goal is to offer successful techniques and experiences on the use of impact assessment as a public management tool, both in Latin America and worldwide. This edition of SEMIDE will train public officials of Ecuador.
The event will be held in the city of Cuenca in Ecuador on November 28-30, 2018, and is intended for officials currently serving in the Ecuadorian public sector and who have a particular interest in learning more about impact assessment and its application in decision-making.
The seminar will train participants in the fundamentals of impact measuring methodologies, some success stories, and their impact on decision-making. Participants may also receive personalized advice from CAF officials regarding their own evaluations. Candidates should preferably be involved in one or more public programs that may eventually be subject to assessment.
No previous knowledge about impact measuring is required.
