Seminar on Measuring of Impact for Development (SEMIDE, for its acronym in Spanish)
The 2015 Seminar on Measuring of Impact for Development (SEMIDE, for its acronym in Spanish), is the first edition of an annual theoretical-practical workshop to provide training and advisory services, organized by CAF, with the main objective of sharing successful technical and practical experiences regarding the use of impact evaluation as a tool for public management, both in Latin America as well as in other countries of the world
The event, which will be carried out in Mexico City on November 5th and 6th, 2015, is an opportunity for:
•Learning from regional, international experts and leaders on the subject of impact evaluations.
•Acquiring tools to strengthen the evaluation processes of public policies.
•Learning first hand about successful cases regarding impact evaluations applied to public policies in Latin America and other regions of the world.
•Receiving direct advice from CAF's Evaluation team for own projects.
•Sharing and relating to leaders of the public sector of other countries in the region.
People who successfully complete the selection process will receive a full scholarship that includes the cost of plane tickets from their country of origin to Mexico City, costs related to the registration process, and lodging, food, and transportation during four days and 3 nights (November 4th to 7th, 2015).
Applications to participate in the selection process must be sent no later than August 30th, 2015.
