Inauguration of the exhibit KYANOS, of artist Daniela Lorini
CAF, Development Bank of Latin America, organizes the inauguration of the exhibit KYANOS, of artist Daniela Lorini, on June 22nd, at Artespacio Gallery in Bolivia.
Kyanos is an exhibit dedicated to the cyanobacteria, a unicellular organism whose origin dates back to at least 1,500 million years and which has made life on Earth possible. The cyanobacteria is represented in the exhibition by a spiral, a molecular form that is more common in the plant kingdom and resides in the DNA of every living form. This tridimensional spiral plays with space and movement and illustrates the evolution of our planet to transform into a series of primary cells in a universe of complex beings, as we know it today. The work, structured on wood in its roughest form, speaks about what is organic and the beauty of what is natural opposed to what is artificial in human intervention.
Through this exhibit, daNiela loRini, wants to take us to the origin of life to look at our own existence, stripped of everything that is material.
She incites us to meditate about the meaning that we want to give to our daily life, so often disconnected from what is transcendent.
