VI Ibero-American Economic Journalism Award
June 16 to 30, 2016
The objective of this award is to recognize the best journalism works published or disseminated by social communications media (written press, magazines, blogs, web sites, radio, or television) in Latin America, to disseminate economic culture in society.
The competition is organized by IE Business School, with the sponsorship of Softland, Iberia, and CAF, Development Bank of Latin America. Other entities supporting the competition are CNN en Español, Casa de América, and the newspaper Cinco Días.
The competition will receive articles until June 30th. Following are the awards, which total USD 11,000:
- 1st Prize in the Category Articles Published in Daily Newspapers (general/economic press), consisting of USD 4,000 and a sculpture by artist Miguel Panadero.
- Special Recognition. 2nd Prize in the Category Articles Published in Daily Newspapers, (general/economic press) consisting of USD 1,500
- 1st Price to the Best Journalism Work Published/Disseminated in non-Daily Media (magazines, specialized publications, TV, Internet), consisting of USD 4,000 and a sculpture by artist , Miguel Panadero
- Special Recognition. 2nd Prize to the Best Journalism Work Published/Disseminated in non-Daily Media (magazines, specialized publications, TV, Internet), consisting of USD 1,500.
