Registration for the Governance, Policy Management, and Public Management Program (2016) UdelaR
The application period for the 2016 edition will be open until July 10th, aimed at public decision makers, government officials, and leaders from the civil society in Uruguay who are interested in obtaining comprehensive training in the field of public management.
The Governance, Policy Management, and Public Management Program was developed in Latin America in 2001, as a response to the need to strengthen the region's institutional development, train public officials, and guarantee the efficiency of the processes to design and implement governmental public policies. It is the first time that the program will be executed in Uruguay, which is the tenth country in the region in which this initiative is implemented. CAF, Development Bank of Latin America, and the Universidad de la República, a renowned higher education institution in Uruguay, have joined efforts to place this training tool at the disposal of the Uruguayan society.
With more than 16,000 graduates throughout the 10 countries in Latin America, the Governance, Policy Management, and Public Management program constitutes a key tool to strengthen the states' capacities in the region.
