The course deals with the sustainability of water and sanitation services in rural areas of Latin America, including good practices and lessons learned from different countries in the area.
How can a rural water and sanitation program or project be sustainable and why is it so important that it is? That is the basic question the course addresses, providing participants with information and knowledge to analyze the context of any given project, as well as implement it and evaluate its results, with the ultimate goal of contributing to improving the sustainability of water and sanitation services in rural areas, one of the sector’s most pressing tasks in the region.
