Setting a Regional Agenda for Digitalization of Open Public Procurement
CAF—development bank of Latin America—is inviting interested parties to participate in the international public tender for consulting services of the project: “Setting a Regional Agenda for Digitalization of Open Public Procurement.”
The purpose of the project is to facilitate the implementation of open procurement in the region through the planning, design, development of three IT modules related to:
- Automatic notifications for suppliers.
- Follow-up to bidding and auction processes, and
- Development of an open procurement data repository.
It should be noted that the development and implementation of these modules will be tested with an internal pilot program with the Digital Agency of Public Innovation of the Government of Mexico City (CDMX), and that the modules and tools will adhere to the principles of open source and free software, in an effort to ensure scalability and replicability of the system for other national and local institutions and governments.
Interested parties must express their intention to participate no later than March 17, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Mexico City time, by completing and submitting the documents attached to the terms of reference and as indicated there-in.
From March 9 until March 17, 2020, companies that have met the above requirements may participate in the stages described in the schedule attached to the project terms of reference and will receive via email the information about upcoming key dates of the process.
CAF reserves the right to select the supplier that fulfills all requirements and is most qualified to meet its specific needs.
All participating companies will remain in the database as potential CAF suppliers and may receive notices regarding future calls for proposals.
