How will 2016 affect your pocket?
International experts will debate about how 2016 will affect the pockets of Latin Americans, the middle class, families, and SMEs in the region
A climate of uncertainty took over the economies of Latin America at the beginning of 2016. Added to the economic deceleration are reductions in prices of raw materials, devaluation of some currencies, and a reduction of international capital toward the region.
How will these economic concepts affect Latin American families? How will the economic deceleration impact on the region's middle class? What can small and medium-size enterprises expect this year?
These are some of the questions that a group of international experts will try to respond on Tuesday, January 26th, in a virtual debate organized by CAF, Development Bank of Latin America.
Panelists include Adriana Arreaza, CAF's Director of Macroeconomic Studies, and Ángel Melguizo, Chief of the Latin American Unit at the Development Center of the OECD (Centro de Desarrollo de la OCDE). The moderator of the debate will be Lino Solís, Digital Deputy Director of the site América Economía.
