Workshop "Stories of Water"
The Gabriel García Márquez Foundation for the New Ibero-American Journalism (FNPI, for its acronym in Spanish) and Chicas poderosas, with the support of Oxfam and CAF, announced the invitation to participate in the workshop "Historias del agua, nuevas formas de narrar la escasez" (Stories of Water, new ways to narrate scarcity)
The challenge of this workshop, held in alliance with the movement Chicas Poderosas, is to find new ways to narrate the scarcity of water using videos and radio as tools, with the best multimedia team to tell the story in the most effective manner and outside the traditional schemes. Sixteen female journalists will be selected to participate in a production workshop in the Colombian Alta Guajira area, to work under the academic coordination of Marta del Vado and Miguel Férnandez Flores, and the tutoring of Ginna Morelo.
The requirements and means of application may be found in the web page of the Fundación Gabriel García Márquez para el Nuevo Periodismo. Registration closes on April 12th.
