II International Child Road Safety Forum (FISEVI)
The II International Child Road Safety Forum will take place on June 16th and 17th in Santiago, Chile, including the participation of more than 30 experts on Road Safety from different parts of the world.
During the FISEVI, the subjects of the Five Pillars proposed by the United Nations will be analyzed in-depth, in the Decade of Action for Road Safety focused on children.
The objective is to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, experiences, best practices, and ideas to improve the management of Road Safety and generate a space for debate, training, and construction of a road safety policy adapted to the needs of the region.
In this framework, the "Stop The Crash" initiative will also be presented, including practical demonstrations of the most important technologies for the prevention of accidents, such as the electronic control of stability, emergency autonomous brakes, and ABS brakes for motorcycles.
As in the first edition held in Uruguay in 2014, the International Road Safety Forum in 2016 will address different spheres of action, such as the creation and implementation of public policies, actions that can be headed by organizations of the civil society and/or private institutions, and strategies fo promote the use of child retention systems, among other subjects.
