Key participants from the most important R+D+i will include speakers, experts, and entrepreneurs that have gone from rhetoric to actions in innovation
The WAITRO Congress is designed to share best practices, trends, and challenges that have to be faced to make innovation the driver of economic development and quality of life; connect with key individuals at an international level to take advantage of specific innovation opportunities; and collaborate with Research, Technological Development, and Innovation Centers in addition to the public and private sectors to reach common goals.
With this purpose, WAITRO has an academic agenda that includes important institutions of the United Nations system (for example, UNESCO, UNIDO, ECLAC), development agencies and multilateral banks such as CAF, innovation gurus, and public officials in charge of innovation policies, all of them visionaries and pioneers in their industries and areas of work.
WAITRO is a global innovation community that generates interaction between governments, development agencies, R+D+i and industry Centers, promoting a dialogue between companies with needs in their processes to generate value from knowledge/technology, and those who have already solved their needs or are in the process or solving them around the world (for example, the leading members of WAITRO: Fraunhofer, TNO, DTI, Leitat, Aster, Sirim, etc.) in addition to those that can find the solutions in the region.
