Regulatory proposal for the implementation of roaming among CAN countries

In the Framework if the technical assistance agreement established with the General Secretariat of the Andean Community of Nations (CAN, for its acronym in Spanish) CAF, Development Bank of Latin America, invites all interested parties to participate in this call for a consultancy to update roaming regulations in the member countries of the Andean Community of Nations.
The objective of the project is to contribute to strengthen Andean integration in the area of telecommunications through the update of the current regulation regarding interconnection in telecommunications and protection of telecommunications users.
The project must include the update of the regulation regarding interconnection in telecommunications, expressed in Decision 462 of the Andean Community of Nations - "Normas que Regulan el Proceso de Integración y Liberalización del Comercio de Servicios de Telecomunicaciones en la Comunidad Andina" (Norms that regulate the integration and liberalization process of the telecommunication services trade in the Andean Community). At the same time, regulations regarding user protection will be updated, together with the current legislation regarding this matter and following existing international standards.
